Pole vault champion of Russia Polina Knoroz
in an interview with , she said that athletes are already not used to hosting the highest quality competitions in the country.

– During one of the tournaments live on , you said that the organization was terrible. Was there no desire to say something like that at the Russian Championship?
– Not this time. It’s the first time I’ve said something good about the tournament. The girls laughed at me. In Chelyabinsk, everything was organized very coldly, everything was at the highest level.
– It seems that last year’s Spartakiad was not bad.
— Chelyabinsk is unique in this respect. Here they try to do everything for the athletes as much as possible, to create the best conditions for them.
– If you take it as a whole, has the quality of Russian athletics competitions increased over the past year and a half?
“I don’t think so for the most part. Some singles starts have gotten better. In the end, it all depends on the local organizers.
– During Luzhniki Athletics Week, spectator stands were on one side of the stadium, and athletes performed on the other side. A question arises – why?
I don’t think anyone understood that. Nothing depends on us athletes, we are already used to the fact that everything happens in one place,” Knoroz told .
