Athletistic/ Others. The second stage of the multi-day Vuelta Burgos road race, which takes place in the province of Burgos (Spain), has ended. For the first time in seven years, it took place in the format of a team race.
The victory over a distance of 13.1 kilometers with an uphill finish was won by the Dutch team “Jumbo-Visma” led by the famous Slovenian cyclist Primoz Roglic. Representatives of “Jumbo-Visma” covered the distance in 14 minutes and 38 seconds.
Movistar finished second, 19 seconds behind the winners. The first three winners were closed by the German team “Bora – Hansgrohe”, which was 30 seconds behind the leader.
Bora-Hansgrohe is represented by Russian cyclist Alexander Vlasov.
