President of the Moscow Swimming Federation Yevgeny Korotyshkin said that the sports areas of the renovated Olimpiysky sports complex are being coordinated, including the spectator stands.
Olimpiyskiy has been closed for renovation since January 1, 2019.
– The commissioning of the Olimpiysky sports complex is planned for the end of 2024 – the beginning of 2025, – Korotyshkin told . – Now we have agreed on all sports areas that will be at the rebuilt facility, including grandstands for major sporting events.
Korotyshkin noted that work will continue at the facility throughout 2024.
“We can focus on opening in early 2025,” he added.
