Sokolova showed the result of 6.66 meters. Second place was taken by Ekaterina Levitskaya (6.57), third position was taken by Belarusian Violetta Skvortsova (6.50).
Sofia Palkina won the hammer throw competition with a score of 72.27 meters. Elizaveta Tsareva (69.67) and Anastasia Grigorieva (68.88) received the silver and bronze medals respectively.
The representative of Belarus Tatyana Kholodovich became the best in javelin throwing. After the best attempt, his projectile traveled 54.88 meters. The second was Maya Bogatyryova (54.45), the third – Ella Vedeneeva (54.51).
Konstantin Kholmogorov became the winner of the final of the “Queen of Russian Sports” in the 1500 m. He covered the distance in 3 minutes 39.87 seconds. The second was Evgeny Valitov (3:40.40 sec), the third was Sergei Dubrovsky (3:40.48 sec).
Maxim Yakushev won the 3000m hurdles final in 8 minutes and 28.85 seconds. Following him, Konstantin Plokhotnikov (8:28.85 sec) and Belarusian Dmitry Ivanenko (8:33.36 sec) raced to the finish line.
The first six places in each discipline of the final of the “Queen of Russian Sports” are awarded with cash prizes.
