World athletics champion in the 110m hurdles Sergei Shubenkov took third place in the final of the Queen of Russian Sports series, which takes place in Yekaterinburg.
Shubenkov covered the distance in 13.63 seconds. Artem Makarenko became the winner of the race (13.36). The second line was taken by the representative of Belarus Vitaly Parakhonko (13.60).
Timur Morgunov won the pole vault competition. He showed a result of 5.72 meters. Second place was taken by Alexander Solovyov (5.65), third position was taken by Mikhail Shmykov (5.55).
Saveliy Savlukov became the winner of the 400m with a score of 45.84 seconds. Artem Araslanov (46.06) was second, Maxim Fedyaev (46.40) third.
Maria Prokhorets won the 800m final with a final time of 2 minutes and 2.65 seconds. She was ahead of Olga Rodioshkina (2 min 2.96 s) and Ekaterina Samuylova (2 min 3.42 s).
The first six places in each discipline of the final of the “Queen of Russian Sports” are awarded with cash prizes.
