Athletistic/Cycling. The third stage of the multi-day Vuelta Burgos road race, held in the province of Burgos in Spain, has come to an end. The professional runners successfully covered 183 km and managed the highest category climb to the summit of Picon Blanco, which was 7.8 km with a gradient of 9.02%.

At the stage, the Slovenian Primoz Roglich, representing the Jumbo-Visma team, won. Russian rider Alexander Vlasov of Bora-Hansgrohe finished second. Briton Adam Yates (UAE Team Emirates) took third place.

It is important to note that Alexander Vlasov also moved up to the second stage of the general classification of the race and received a green jersey, indicating his leadership in the sprint classification.

The general classification of the “Vuelta Burgos” stage race is as follows:

  1. Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) – time: 8:19.26.
  2. Alexander Vlasov (Bora — Hansgrohe) – 34 seconds back.
  3. Adam Yates (UAE team) +0.40.
