Wards Krastiņš dramatically lost in a tie-break
Men’s national volleyball team of Ukraine lost to the Estonian team in a friendly match – 2:3.
The duel was dramatic. Our compatriots led in sets 1:0 and 2:1, but the Estonians managed to win back both times. Everything was decided in the fifth installment. In it, the Ukrainian team was constantly leading by 1-2 points, but with a score of 13:12, the opponent managed to make a comeback and eventually won.
In July, our volleyball players won bronze at the Candidates Cup 2023.
Soon the team of Ugis Krastiņš will take part in the European Volleyball Championship. The Continental Forum will be held from August 28 to September 16 in four countries (Italy, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Israel).
Recall, earlier today, the Ukrainian women’s team started at the European Championship 2023 with a defeat from Serbia (0:3).
