Ukrainian defender of Prague Slavia – about the next loan to the Austrian club, as well as the interest of Shakhtar
Ex-defender of the youth team of Ukraine Maxim Taloverov commented on his return from Slavia to Austrian LASK.
“I didn’t actually sit and wait for anything. Worked, trained and prepared for the season. And when everything was decided, in four hours I was already in Linz. We quickly packed our things with the girl and left.”
“I will say this – the final choice was between clubs from Germany, France and the Czech Republic. But it is important to note that it was LASK who was the first to reach an agreement with Slavia. So they wanted to see me at their place most of all.
“Personally, Shakhtar did not contact me or my agent. But I recently changed my phone number, so they may have been calling my old number.”
Recall, on August 17, it became known that Slavia again gave Taloverov to LASK on loan with an option to buy.
Taloverov played for the club from Linz on loan in the second part of last season and made 13 appearances for the Austrian club.
Earlier it was reported that the scouts of the German clubs – Eintracht and Werder – followed the performances of the young Ukrainian at the European Championship 2023. The media informed about the option of renting Taloverov with the right to buy.
LASK is seventh after three rounds of the 2023/24 Austrian Championship. In the next match, the club from Linz will play with WSG Swarovski on 19 August.
