The Italian moved from Galatasaray on loan
Aston Villa officially unveiled the Italian midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo as my newbie. The rights to the player belong to Galatasaray.
As previously reported, the deal between the clubs involves a loan with an option to buy for 27 million euros. The only thing left for the football player is to get a visa.
Zaniolo, already at the age of 19, was entrenched in the composition of Roma, and soon made his debut in the Italian national team. However, his career was damaged by two serious injuries, due to which he missed a total of almost a year and a half (including the triumphant European Championship for Squadra Azzurra).
In February 2023, the attacking midfielder became a Galatasaray player, with whom he soon won the Turkish Championship, playing 10 matches in the Super League and scoring 5 goals. In the new season, he managed to play against Zalgiris (2:2) in the Champions League qualification.
Aston Villa finished 7th last season and qualified for the Conference League. In the first round of the Premier League, Unai Emery’s wards were crushingly defeated by Newcastle with a score of 1:5. On August 20, the Birmingham club will face Vitaly Mikolenko’s Everton.
