Ukrainian in two sets lost to Oleksandra Sasnovich
Ukrainian tennis player Anna Poznikhirenko lost in the opening match of the tournament qualification WTA 250 in American Cleveland.
The Ukrainian lost in two sets to Alexandra Sosnovich, who plays in a neutral status. The Ukrainian lost her serve three times, filed right through once and made five double faults.
29-year-old Poznikhirenko played in the qualification of the WTA tournament for the third time in her career. So far, she has not been able to break into the main draw at this level.
Another Ukrainian, Angelina Kalinina, who received the fifth seed, will perform at the tournament in Cleveland. In the first round of the main draw, Kalinina will play against Ana Bogdan from Romania.
