Rubchinsky: Obolon played well in the match against Dynamo, but we need a victory before the game in Trnava

Midfielder Dnipro-1 commented on the team’s fights at the start of the season

Midfielder Dnepr-1 Valentin Rubchinsky commented on the upcoming match with Obolon in the fourth round Ukrainian Premier League.

“Physical well-being is getting a little lower, because we play every three days plus more transfers, so the team is a little worn out. Moral – we need a victory over Obolon in order to go to Trnava with good emotions and a positive result behind us.”

“I watched the game between Obolon and Dynamo, they left a good impression. This is a good opponent, even in the match with the people of Kiev, although the goals were not counted there, but they looked decent, had chances. It will be a difficult game for us, but we are gearing up for a winning result.”

“At the start of the season, we wanted more: to take six points. It so happened that with Minay we were a little lacking in strength, and the red card also got in the way. But still we were able to squeeze out at least a draw. The result is not exactly satisfactory, but more or less normal, given the fact that we finished the game in the minority.

“With Slavia, we failed the first game a little because we didn’t tune in to the opponent properly. They failed to follow the correct tactics, as a result they lost the fight, and with it the match – 0:3. In the second game it was already problematic to recoup. But we fought to the end, gave all our strength so that we would not be ashamed both in front of the fans and in front of ourselves.”

Dnipro-1 match with Obolon will start on Sunday at 15:00. The meeting will be judged by a team of referees headed by Nikolai Balakin.
