He stated this at a press conference after the defeat from Obolon
Alexander Kucher announced his resignation as head coach SC Dnepr-1 along with his entire staff.
At the press conference after the match with Obolon (1:2), the mentor of the vice-champion of Ukraine was laconic.
“I want to thank everyone. I am resigning along with the coaching staff. I take the blame for the results that we show lately. Thanks to all”.
The results of the Dnieper at the start of the season look modest. Before the defeat from Obolon, Kucher’s team played a draw with Minai in the championship and hardly beat Polissya (2:1). In European competitions, Dnipro-1 consistently took off from Panathinaikos (Champions League, 1:3, 2:2) and Slavia (Europa League, 0:3, 1:1).
Dnipro-1 will play the next match on Wednesday, August 23, against Slovak Spartak Trnava in the playoff round of the Conference League. Then the vice-champion will visit the leader of the current championship Rukh.
