The match of the 5th round of UPL Rukh – SC Dnipro-1 was postponed from August 27 to a later date

The Lviv club has already expressed indignation about this

Directorate Ukrainian Premier League granted the request SC Dnepr-1 on the postponement of the match of the 5th round of the championship of Ukraine against Rukh at a later date.

SC Dnepr is the representative of Ukraine in European competitions. According to the new regulation of the competition, such requests can be satisfied without the consent of the other party. The exact date of the rescheduled UPL match will be announced later.

Rukh, represented by technical director Alexander Chaban, has already managed to resent this state of affairs. According to the functionary, first, Dnepr-1 unofficially turned to the Lviv club with a request to transfer the match of the 5th round from Lviv to Uzhgorod. After the refusal, the Dnipro decided to act through the Premier League.

This season, there have already been several transfers of UPL matches with the participation of representatives of European competitions: Vorskla – Dnipro-1 (round 1), Dynamo – Metallist 1925 (round 3), Dynamo – Veres (round 5).

Dnipro-1 is in 11th place with four points. After the defeat from Obolon, Alexander Kucher, together with his staff, resigned from the post of head coach. The vice-champion will play his next match on August 23 against Spartak from Trnava in the playoffs of the Conference League.

Rukh, leading in the UPL after four rounds, will host Metalist 1925 Kharkiv on September 3.
