“I want to connect my life with coaching” – figure skater Usacheva

Figure skater Daria Usacheva in a conversation with , she said that she liked working as a coach and would like to realize herself as both a choreographer and a show jumping coach.

Now Usacheva tries himself as a coach at the training camp of the ISA Figure Skaters Association with Maurice Kvitelashvili, Denis Khodykin, Stanislav Konstantinova, Olga Filippova. At the beginning of August, it became known that the figure skater had left the group of Eteri Tutberidze.

How do you feel as a coach?

Surprisingly confident. I like. As a child, I thought, “No, I don’t want to be a coach.” Now I like it. And it doesn’t matter how old the coach is. It’s clear that it’s easier with the old ones, they rack their brains more. Small heads often don’t understand. It’s more fun with them: they play dumb, they need to sober up often.

I like to share the experience, I have a huge one. And danced. I have already installed some programs. Due to the fact that I have just started, there are a lot of ideas, I want to implement everything. To do this, you need to find children.

– You just published a post on your social networks that you were ready to recruit students. Would you like to get into coaching more now?

– For now yes. Not yet, but still associate life with it. Not only do I like it, but also the feedback, the opinions of parents and children are very positive. Everyone likes it, they say they understand everything. With older children, I have already taught the triple jump. I learned with small rotations. Would you like to be a coach or a choreographer more?

– I have no desire to share in any way. I know the jumps, the technique too, I can explain it. In general, they said that I skated well. There was a trip to the dancers, where I also gained a lot of knowledge. I would like to be both a choreographer and a show jumping coach. All our coaches were also a little divided, but at the same time everyone was talking about everything. If you are a good coach then you have knowledge everywhere,” Usacheva told .
