On August 22, a gala concert dedicated to the Day of the State Flag of Russia is held at the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace. Soldatova will perform for the first time since the birth of her child.

– How often are there such concerts in rhythmic gymnastics? Do you feel that your sport is close to art?

– The combination of sport and art has always been, is and will be. And not just at concerts. Our whole sport, every performance is an art. A deep salute to Irina Aleksandrovna (Viner) for showing this art to everyone not only at tournaments, but also at concerts. Gymnasts perform in a thrill, they don’t worry about losing (objects), if something suddenly doesn’t work. I have always loved and will love such events. Concerts are held often, but each is something special, – correspondent soldier reports the words.

Alexandra Soldatova is a Russian gymnast, triple team world champion, ribbon exercise world champion, triple team European champion. In 2020, she announces the end of her sports career.
