Dynamo player transferred by Rebrov from the reserve list to the main one
Head coach Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov called up a football player to the national team of Ukraine Dynamo Alexander Karavaev.
The versatile winger (right-back, winger) will train for the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against England and Italy, along with the other 25 players from the main roster announced the day before.
Previously, Karavaev was on the reserve list.
Thus, Karavaev became the ninth representative of Dynamo in the main list of players of the national team, after Georgy Bushchan, Denis Popov, Alexander Tymchik, Andriy Yarmolenko, Sergey Sidorchuk, Vitaly Buyalsky, Nikolay Shaparenko and Vladislav Vanat.
The Ukrainian national team is second with six points in Group C in qualifying for Euro 2024. The English are leading the group, having won all four previous matches.
On September 9, Rebrov’s wards will host the England team in Wroclaw, Poland. The Italy-Ukraine match will take place on September 12 in Milan at the San Siro stadium.
