The design of the balls for the men’s and women’s Champions League is inspired by the words of the tournament’s anthem
Sponsor Adidas unveils official balls for men’s and women’s Champions League 2023/24.
The ball for the main club tournament of the continent depicts 12 purple-red-blue stars, each of which is inscribed with a letter from the words “The Chamoions”.
The stars on the ball for the women’s Champions League are made in orange. Two of them are inscribed with the words of the Champions League anthem, forming a unique text pattern.
The main stage of the new season of the Champions League will begin on September 19 and end on June 1, 2024 with the final at London Wembley.
Qualification for the group stage of the tournament is currently underway. On August 22 and 23, the first matches of the playoff round will take place. The return matches will take place next week, following which six participants in the group stage will be determined.
Recall that the vice-champion of Ukraine SC Dnipro-1 flew out of the second round of qualification from the Greek Panathinaikos. Shakhtar will start the European Cup season in the group stage, where they will be seeded from the third pot. The draw will take place on 31 August.
