Dnipro-1 defender on the eve of the fight against Spartak Trnava talked to reporters
Defender SC Dnepr-1 Eduard Sarapiy shared his opinion about Kosicewhere his club hosts opponents in European competition, as well as plans for the international club season.
“It is already very pleasant for us to play in Kosice, where we have found our fans. For us, it’s just a given to play with the Slovak team, because Kosice has become our European home.”
“Each game is important for us, because we play them in Europe, and the opponents are one level higher than in our domestic championship. Therefore, we want to go as far as possible, at this stage – this is the group round of the League of Conferences. There to show the best results and prove that we deserve to play in Europe.”
Dnipro-1 will play with Spartak (Trnava) for the right to break into the group stage of the 2023/24 Conference League. The first meeting will be held in Trnava on August 23, starting at 19:30 Kyiv time. The bout will be judged by the Albanian brigade led by referee Eugene Jaya.
