Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov for the first time after the disease and the amputation of the feet, he goes out on the ice in front of the public.
This happened during Ilya Averbukh’s ice show “Letters of Love” in Sochi at the Iceberg Arena.
The 46-year-old has suffered multiple amputations since January after being hospitalized. In early July, Kostomarov announced that he was discharged from the hospital, since then videos with the adaptation process appeared on his social networks.
Kostomarov, paired with Tatyana Navka, won gold at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin in ice dancing. In addition, the duo won twice at the world championships, three times at the European championships.
