Alexandra Bibikina, winner of the Russian Diving Championship, spoke about the atmosphere at the International University Sports Festival in Yekaterinburg.
Bibikina became the third in the three-meter springboard at the festival, which takes place in Yekaterinburg.
– Have you managed to prepare for this return to school before the start of the new season?
“I didn’t prepare as well as I would have liked. But, nevertheless, we tuned in and planned to play in these competitions, and for me, every start is important.
– What motivated you?
— I love diving and I love competition. Here I will also perform on the meter springboard, in synchronized jumps and in team competitions.
– You started here at the Russian Championship at the beginning of the summer, has it become more fun?
– You can’t compare here. During the championship we lived not so close to the pool, now it’s more convenient when everything is close. The village has a very well thought out program, yesterday we didn’t go anywhere, because it’s the day before departure, but the day before the band NEFT performed there. I loved it, great guy. Everything was cool.
“Have you encountered any of the other species?”
— No, I don’t have such a goal. I’m sitting in my room reading books,” Bibikina told .
