Athletistic/Figure Skating. Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova expressed her impressions of Roman Kostomarov’s first appearance on the ice after amputation.

“Kostomarov is an incredible person. We didn’t even know he was on the ice. We never imagined in our dreams that he would be able to walk, but he got up and walked. It is an example of a unique will and desire to live. He is a truly unique person and his experience is an inspiration to all. The whole room was just in tears, and I also couldn’t hold back my emotions,” Tarasova shared with Metaratings.ru.

Kostomarov jumped on the ice on August 22 at Ilya Averbukh’s gala performance “Letters of Love”, which was held in Sochi.
