Traore was diagnosed with a quadriceps femoris tendon tear. On August 22, the striker had a successful operation in Finland. Earlier it was reported that the player will miss up to four months, and a full recovery is possible by the spring part of the season.
The 22-year-old striker has been playing for the Pitmen since the summer of 2021. Traore has scored two goals in three appearances for the club this season.
Shakhtar is fourth in the UPL with 8 points. In the next match, the Pitmen will play Kolos on August 27.
