World Swimming Championships medalist Daria Ustinova says she doesn’t want to complain about the problems with the flags at the International University Sports Festival (IFUS) in Yekaterinburg, because there are enough advantages in hosting the event .

Ustinova didn’t notice the flags in the semis and slammed into the board with her hand.

– How’s your hand?

– The hand is fine, I don’t pay attention to it anymore. I didn’t see it, I thought, I focused on the sensations, I ran into the flags and then hit my hand.

Should they be in contrast?

“Most often yes, but here, for some reason, they are blue.

– You didn’t complain?

– It so happens that at any competition, training camp, I say what is wrong, it seems that I am constantly indignant. Here, I hold back not to pay attention to the minuses, because there are pluses.

— The volunteers are very nice, there are a lot of very nice guys. The atmosphere in the village is good, there are concerts in the evening. They explain errors. There were queues in the dining room, they put up barriers so people didn’t rush. I think it will be very cool in the next big competitions. The current ones are big firsts (for the Palace of Water Sports. – Approx. .), so for the first competitions it will be fine, – Ustinova told .
