On June 23, the Disciplinary Anti-Doping Commission (DAK) of RUSADA examined the case of a Russian skier Maria Gushchina and decided to issue a warning to the athlete.
The 32-year-old skier was accused of having used the prohibited method M1.1 (manipulation with blood and its components).
After studying all the circumstances of the case, DAK decided to issue a warning to Gushchina, without imposing a disqualification.
Gushchina is a 2013 World Championship medalist in the relay, world youth champion, Russian champion. His interests were represented by Lisin, Mishin and Partners.
