“The version of the FTAR declaration reflects the conditions and requirements of all documents regulating the international sports movement. In the version of the FTAR declaration, athletes are asked to declare their rejection of all forms of violence. Athletes must confirm compliance of human rights, the desire to create a safe environment for all participants,” the statement said.
FTA chief Maxim Agapitov pointed out that the IWF statement contradicts the principles of the Olympic Charter and violates human rights.
