Petkov’s team advances to the playoffs from third place
Ukrainian women’s volleyball team broke the winning streak European Championship 2023. In four sets, the wards of Ivan Petkov lost to the national team of Poland.
The Ukrainians managed to win only one game out of four – 25:22. But they lost the other three with the same score 17:25.
Thus, the Ukrainian team finished in its sextet in third place (after Serbia and Poland). Recall that our team in the last round, thanks to the victory over Slovenia, secured an early exit to the playoffs.
In the 1/8 finals, the Ukrainian team will play with the representative of group C – the Czech Republic or Germany.
