Athletistic/ Figure Skating. As before, no decision has been made in the case of Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva. It is now being examined by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Team USA has requested a seat for their representative at the Valieva hearing. Tatyana Tarasova, Honored Coach of the USSR in Figure Skating, spoke about this.
– Apparently the US Olympic team doesn’t trust CAS, so they want to send their man. But it doesn’t work anymore! I hope that very soon they will make a decision on the case of Kamila Valieva and stop touching her. How much can you already? – quotes the words of Tarasova Sport24.
Recall that at the 2022 Olympics it turned out that in December 2021 Kamila Valieva passed a positive doping test. For this reason, the result of the team tournament was not approved.
