Luke has a muscle injury
Defender Manchester United and national team England’s Luke Shaw retired indefinitely.
Shaw was diagnosed with muscle damage. In the near future, the defender will undergo an in-depth medical examination, but there is a possibility that Shaw will miss several weeks.
Luke has made two appearances for Manchester United this season. Shaw made 31 appearances for England in all competitions.
The Red Devils player is included in the clip of the England national team – the rival of Ukraine in the qualification for the 2024 European Championship. A face-to-face meeting between England and Ukraine is scheduled for September 9 in Wroclaw, Poland.
England are in the lead in group C, having won all four previous matches. Blue and yellow with six points are in second place.
Manchester United at the start of the 2023/24 Premier League season got three points in two rounds. On August 26, the team of Eric ten Hag will play with Nottingham Forest.
