The club came under investigation by the State Bureau of Investigation
Prykarpattya made an official statement urging State Bureau of Investigation (GBR) to do honest work.
“[Наши игроки] served and serve: both football players and coaches go to outfits. The initiative was TCC and JV together with IFC Prykarpattya, and this was publicly announced in April 2022. Since that time, the part was demobilized and ceased cooperation with the club. Some of them continue to serve and participate in the life of the Prykarpattya-UAF team. We are waiting for an objective investigation! ”, The message of the club reads.
The State Bureau of Investigation exposed in the Ivano-Frankivsk region a scheme of fictitious enlistment of relatives of the city leadership, as well as football players of the local First League club Prykarpattya, into the military service. “Recruits” were given the opportunity not to actually do military service and receive financial and material support from the state for budget money.
In April last year, 14 football players from Prykarpattya, as well as team coaches from Ivano-Frankivsk, took an oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Now Prykarpattya plays in the First League (Group A), ranking ninth after four games.
