The Ukrainian national team won the first license for the 2024 Olympics in kayaking and canoeing

Oleg Kukharik, Dmitry Danilenko, Igor Trunov and Ivan Semykin took third place in the 500m kayak fours at the 2023 World Championships

Team of Ukraine won the first license for Olympic Games 2024 V rowing and canoeing.

Ukrainian four in the composition Oleg Kukharik, Dmitry Danilenko, Igor Trunov and Ivan Semykin placed third in the 500m kayak World Cup 2023 in Duisburg, Germany. The Ukrainians guaranteed the Olympic license following the results of the semi-finals, and in the final heat they won the bronze of the competition with a score of 1:19.631 minutes.

The Ukrainian four kayakers will compete at the Olympics for the second time in history. In 1996, at a distance of 1000 meters, the blue-yellows reached the semi-finals of the Games.

The 2023 World Championships in rowing and canoeing takes place from 23 to 27 August. Kukharik, Danilenko, Trunov and Semykin won the first medal for Ukraine at the competition.
