Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Andrey Rudenko (35-6, 21 KOs) passed the weigh-in ceremony before the fight with the American Jared Anderson (15-0, 14 KOs).
The Ukrainian turned out to be two kilograms heavier than his opponent. Rudenko showed 110.8 kg on the scales, while the American recorded a weight of 108.7 kg.
Fight Rudenko – Anderson will be held on the night of August 26-27 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The bout will be the main event of the evening of boxing on ESPN. Earlier, Andriy said that he would dedicate the fight with Andersen to the people of Ukraine.
The last fight 39-year-old Rudenko held in January 2023, defeating the representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bojan Cestich. It was the first fight of the Ukrainian after a year-long pause.
Anderson, 23, will fight for the second time in two months. On July 1, the American defeated former world heavyweight champion Charles Martin by unanimous decision.
