Ukrainian women took eighth place in the 500-meter canoe-twos competition
Ukrainian athletes Ludmila Luzan And Valeria Tereta won a license for Olympics 2024 in rowing and canoeing.
Ukrainian women took eighth place in the 500-meter canoe-twos competition at the 2023 World Championships, which takes place in Duisburg, Germany. The first half of the distance Luzan and Tereta were in last place, but managed to climb higher, having won the Olympic license.
On Saturday, Ukrainian Pavel Altukhov also competed in the canoe singles final at 1000 meters. Pavel took eighth place – tickets to the Olympics received the top 5 heats.
Ukraine won the second Olympic license in rowing. Earlier, the Ukrainian four, consisting of Oleg Kukharik, Dmitry Danilenko, Igor Trunov and Ivan Semykin, took third place in the 500m kayak race at the 2023 World Championships.
