According to , the Russian figure skating duo Tiffany Zagorsky /Jonathan Gureiro does not plan to continue his professional career.
During the off-season, both athletes have spent a lot of time in Australia and have yet to prepare for the upcoming season. Gureyro, 31, got into sports management; plans for the 27-year-old Zagorski are currently unknown.
Zagorski and Gureyro made their competitive debuts for the Russian national team in 2015, Tiffany previously represented France, while Jonathan skated for Australia as a child. As a member of the Russian national team, Zagorski/Gureiro won the Grand Prix stages four times and the national championship three times. At the 2018 Olympics, they placed 13th.
Last season, the skaters were unable to qualify for the Beijing Olympics due to an unsuccessful performance at the national championship, caused by their partner’s illness. In the updated lists of the Russian national team, presented in June, Zagorski/Gureiro appear neither in the main team nor in the reserve.
