Shcherbakova explained why many children practice figure skating

Olympic figure skating champion Anna Shcherbakova explained to why many children play his sport.

On Sunday, the presentation of the SKA hockey team for the KHL 2023/24 season took place in the village of Leninskoye near St. Petersburg. As part of the event, Shcherbakova took part in a demonstration and held a master class.

– You spoke with young children. What is the interest in figure skating?

– This is quite an obvious fact – we have a lot of strong girls who raise the level of figure skating, a lot of stars, and thanks to this, many children go to figure skating. Especially the girls, of course. From there there is huge competition, which gives the result, – Shcherbakova told .
