Motor applied for participation in Champions League Handball in the 2022/23 season.

Nine teams are guaranteed to play in the tournament, 13 more have applied for participation. The full line-up of the Champions League is 16 teams.

Together with Motor, Aalborg (Denmark), Granollers (Spain), Nantes (France), Veszprem (Hungary), Vistula (Poland), Sporting (Portugal), Baia Mare (Romania), Zagreb (Croatia) claim to get into the Champions League , Elverum (Norway), Celje (Slovenia), Kadetten (Switzerland) and Ystad (Sweden).

The full squad for the Champions League will be announced on Monday 27 June. The group draw will take place on 1 July.

Last season, Motor ended his performance in the group round ahead of schedule due to the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine. The winner of the tournament was Barcelona, ​​which defeated Vive Kielce from Poland in the final.
