Chisora: A black guy fought in white country. Even if he knocked out Usyk, they wouldn’t give him the win

Derek – about the outcome of the Dubois fight with the Ukrainian world champion

British heavyweight Derek Chisora spoke about the fight of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world champion in heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk against Daniel Dubois.

“We need VAR. First of all, the black guy fought in white country, surrounded by white people. The referee is white, the judges are white. What the fuck were you expecting? Nothing mattered to the black guy. Even if he knocked out Usyk, they would not give him the victory, ”said Chisora.

“We need VAR in boxing. But you know what? I don’t know where this beat started. I only saw the impact, but we don’t know how it started. Daniel didn’t impress me. He could have done better. He did not use his size, did not use the advantage. So I’m upset.”

Recall that in the fifth round of the Usyk-Dubois fight, the Briton struck a Ukrainian in the inguinal region. Oleksandr fell to the canvas, the referee recorded a low blow, giving the Ukrainian time to recover.

According to Dubois’s team, the shot was clean. Daniel himself believes that he was deprived of a legitimate victory and demands revenge.

Usyk won by technical knockout in the ninth round, having recorded his 21st victory in the professional ring and the 14th ahead of schedule.
