Belgian Remco Evenepoel of Soudal Quick-Step won the stage covering 158.5 km in 4 hours 15 minutes 39 seconds. Denmark’s Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) finished second, with Spaniard Juan Ayuso (UAE Team Emirates) completing the top three.
Evenepool leads the general classification of the Vuelta after three stages, Vlasov moves up to fifth place (33 seconds behind).
The fourth stage of the 185km multi-day race will take place on Tuesday.
