I see that the birthday season continues. We held a press conference not on the eve of the start of the Russian Championship, but on the eve of a unique tournament dedicated to the centenary of Russian volleyball. The team has a lot of tasks this season in connection with this anniversary year. In the third round of the Russian championship, we will play for the Russian Super Cup with our rival of recent years, Lokomotiv from the Kaliningrad region. The Russian Cup is also a trophy of the anniversary season.
We don’t have time to rest on our laurels and the rivals won’t allow it, I’m sure. The team held a training camp almost entirely, members of the Russian team have already joined them during the training camp. Natalia Pereira flew to us recently. During her training in South America, she caught up with the team and arrived in good physical condition. All that remains is to declare it. Due to some circumstances, the application has some difficulties, but through joint efforts, we will be able to overcome them.
