2022 Olympic Team Tournament Figure Skating Champion Kamila Valieva hasn’t ruled out trying her hand at boxing, as the 2018 Olympic champion did Alina Zagitova .
On Saturday, two-time Games winner Oleg Saitov staged a boxing sparring demonstration with Zagitova at Moscow Sports Day in Luzhniki. Valieva held an open fitness workout at this event.
– In Novogorsk we went to athletics, pole vault, long jump, spear throwing. I would try again.
– Would you try boxing, like Zagitova?
– I do not know, maybe. It’s good for you, for the heart. If it’s all done in reasonable amounts, like another workout, then why not,” Valieva told reporters.
