16-year-old figure skater Alina Gorbacheva disappeared in Moscow: what do we know about it so far

On the evening of August 28, 16-year-old Russian figure skater Alina Gorbacheva, who this year became the winner of the Russian junior championship, disappeared. Around seven in the evening, Moscow time, she left the ice rink of the Chkalov Arena, then walked to the Vladimir Church and entered the park. After that, the cameras no longer recorded her. All of the above places are located in the North-Western Administrative District of Moscow.

Alina Gorbacheva wore a black tracksuit and a white T-shirt. She also wore gray sneakers. Alina Gorbacheva had a blue backpack with her. The search and rescue group of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has joined in the search for the figure skater. The search is carried out in particular with the help of a dog. Initially, it was reported that Gorbachev’s belongings were found on the beach near the Pokrovskaya embankment. However, the information turned out to be premature. Only socks were found. It has not been established that they belong to Alina Gorbacheva. Initially the dog took the trail in the opposite direction of the water and then back to the water.

Different information appears on the network about the relationship between Alina Gorbacheva and her coach Sofia Fedchenko. Some media report that they had a fight around 6 p.m. Moscow time, and it was only then that Gorbachev left the rink. It was also reported that the figure skater did not go to training at all. In particular, the media report that Alina Gorbacheva intended to change the coach. At the same time, she not only trained with Sofia Fedchenko, but also lived with her.

Information about the conflict with the coach was confirmed by the grandmother of Alina Gorbacheva.

– I haven’t spoken to my granddaughter for a long time, I saw her on the show. My granddaughter hasn’t written to me lately. I spoke to my daughter today. The granddaughter argued with the coach and left. Because of the reason for the argument with the coach, we don’t know.

The coach forbade Alina to communicate with us for three years. She said that in order to be successful, there is no need to communicate with grandmothers, mothers, fathers or anyone, the skater’s grandmother said in an interview with KP Sport.

In addition, following the disappearance of Alina Gorbacheva, criminal proceedings were opened under article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). It is reported that this is a standard procedure, as it is necessary to continue research and different versions.
