Cherry’s decisive goal scored in injury time
Bournemouth on the road snatched victory from Swansea in the 1/32 final match english league cup – 3:2.
The hosts opened the scoring at the beginning of the match, midfielder Matt Grimes converted a penalty. Bournemouth managed to recoup only after the break. David Brooks equalized and Hamed Traore gave the Vishen the lead.
The Swans managed to bounce back 11 minutes after Jamie Paterson’s goal. However, the guests snatched the victory in stoppage time, scored Ryan Christie.
Ukrainian defender of Bournemouth Ilya Zabarny was not included in the application for the match. Another Ukrainian, Mykola Kukharevich, came on as a substitute for Swansea, but failed to score.
Bournemouth are 16th in the Premier League. Swansea are in 20th position in the Championship. In their next match, the Cherries will face Ukrainian Egor Yarmolyuk’s Brentford on 2 September.
