Everton snatched a volitional victory from Doncaster away to the 1/32 finals english league cup – 2:1.
The hosts opened the scoring at the end of the first half, scored by Joe Ironside. Everton managed to bounce back after the break, with newcomer Betu scoring his debut goal for the Toffees. And at the end of the second half, Arno Danjuma brought victory to Everton.
Ukrainian defender Irisok Vitaliy Mykolenko played in an official match for the club for the first time in the new season. The Ukrainian came out at the heart of the team. Toward the end of the second half, Vitaly was replaced by James Tarkovsky.
The Toffees have lost all three opening matches in the Premier League and are in last place. Mykolenko’s next match will be away against Sheffield United on 2 September.
