Russian figure skater Alina Gorbacheva recorded a video message in which she thanked everyone who participated in her research and apologized for worrying her loved ones about her.
Russian junior champion Gorbachev disappeared Monday night in Moscow. A day later, the whereabouts of the 16-year-old athlete became known in the cinema of one of the shopping centers. On Wednesday, Gorbacheva announced on the social network that her act was not related to figure skating or the coach, and also urged not to trust the media and “unfortunate bloggers”.
“It is very difficult for me to record this video now and it is difficult to talk about this situation, but I sincerely want to thank everyone who cared and participated in my research. Thank you to the rescuers, to the search services, to the volunteers, to the divers, to my fellow skaters, to the fans. Of course, a big thank you to my family and friends.
Sorry to worry you, it’s only now that I understand what really happened, that my act does not fit into the concept of “normal” at all. After all, while I was worried and trying to understand myself, my thoughts and my feelings, you all spent time and effort looking for me. Thank you very much for your love,” Gorbacheva said in a video message on the Telegram channel.
