Russian figure skater Alena Kostornaya became a choreographer at the Evgeni Plushenko Academy, according to Plushenko Angels social networks.
It is worth noting that 20-year-old Kostornaya will help academy athletes prepare show programs.
– We are happy to see Alena again on our ice already as a choreographer. Alena Kostornaya joined our team to work with the juniors. In her free time after her training and competitions, Alena will help our athletes and participate in our shows, the post reads.
In early 2023, Kostornaya announced the transition from single to pair skating and began performing with Georgy Kunitsa. On August 12, the skaters got married.
The athlete is European champion (2020) and winner of the Grand Prix final of the 2019/20 season in single skating. She trained in the Evgeni Plushenko group in the 2020/21 season.
