Krastiņš’s team takes the last place in the group
Men’s national volleyball team of Ukraine played the third match European Championship 2023. Blue-yellow lost Bulgaria – 1:3.
As in previous matches of the tournament, Ukrainian volleyball players won the first set – 25:20. However, the team of Ugis Krastiņš failed to build on the success.
The three subsequent games went to Bulgaria (25:17, 25:20, 25:23), which won the second victory at Euro 2023.
Ukraine suffered the third defeat and with 1 point occupies the last place in group B. Previously, Krastiņš’s team lost to Slovenia (1:3) and Croatia (2:3).
In the group round, Ukraine will have to play two more matches: with Finland (September 4) and Spain (September 5). The four best teams from the group will advance to the playoffs of the European Championship.
