There are no more Ukrainian tennis players in singles
The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina lost in the third round US Open 2023 on tennis.
Ukrainian lost to the third seeded American Jessica Pegula. The three-set duel lasted almost two hours.
Elina lost the first set, missing one of her serve. In the second game, the Ukrainian was able to snatch victory by making a break at the very end. In the decisive set, Svitolina lost in two of her own games, eventually losing the match.
Elina was seeded 26th US Open 2023. Svitolina started the tournament with a victory in two sets over the German Anna-Lena Friedsam. Then the Ukrainian in three sets defeated the Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, who performed under a neutral flag.
There are no more Ukrainian tennis players left in the US Open-2023 singles. The struggle is continued by Marta Kostyuk, who reached the 1/8 finals of the doubles competition.
