Russian Artistic Gymnastics Federation (FSGR) President Vasily Titov told that the sport in the country is doing well as a talented new generation is growing up.
On Sunday, in the federal territory of Sirius, the last day of competition of the Cup of Russia in artistic gymnastics took place.
– The most important conclusion of the tournament is that we have a good generation change. Well, veterans still come forward, albeit in different guises. It’s a good thing that high-level talented young people are growing up in our country. I would choose a whole group of gymnasts, not just one. In my opinion, Russian gymnastics is doing well.
– Do you agree that there are few national competitions this year?
– This year, yes. We are planning the Friendship Games, the BRICS Games, which will allow us to acquire good international practices. Of course, you can invent something new, but there are traditions,” Titov told .
