russian cyclist Alexander Vlasov playing for the Bora-Hansgrohe team, finished 10th in the ninth stage of the Vuelta a España stage race.
The winner of the stage was the German Lennard Kemna from Bora-Hansgrohe. Italian Matteo Sobrero (Team Jayco Alula) crossed the finish line in second position, while Australian Christopher Hamilton (Team DSM-Firmenich) completed the top three.
In the general classification of the Vuelta, after nine stages, the American Sepp Kuss (Jumbo‑Visma) is in the lead, Vlasov has moved up to the 12th row (+3 minutes 51 seconds).
The tenth stage of the stage race will take place on Tuesday 5 September.
