Thuram scored his debut goal for the new club, Lautaro scored a brace

Inter scored a super-confident home victory over Fiorentina in the match of the third round of the Italian championship – 4:0.

In the middle of the first half, Markus Thuram scored the first goal for his new club. After the break, Lautaro Martinez took over. At the beginning of the second half, he turned Thuram’s pass into a goal, and 20 minutes later he scored a double. With five goals, the Agrintine led the scoring race.

Between Martinez’s two goals, Hakan Calhanoglu scored, converting a penalty. During the entire game, Inter made 21 shots on goal, 11 of them were on target.

With this victory, the Nerazzurri moved into first place in the standings, beating Milan on goal difference. Simone Inzaghi’s team has not yet conceded a single goal.

In the next round on September 16, the leaders of Serie A will meet in the Milan derby. Inter is the nominal host of the match. Fiorentina, having fallen back to 8th place with four points, will host Atalanta on 17 September.
