According to the criteria of the International Swimming Federation (World Aquatics), Russian synchronized swimmers will not be able to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

On Monday, World Aquatics reported that the organization’s world office had unanimously decided to adopt criteria that would allow athletes with Russian and Belarusian passports to compete as neutral individual athletes.

– Athletes and their support staff are not permitted to participate in any World Aquatics team competition.
